Welcome to the website of Montessori Kindergarten Druhý krok. We are here to introduce you to a kindergarten for children aged three to pre-school age, where they will look forward to mornings and find exactly what they need.
We provide high-quality Montessori education for children, individually fostering the potential of each child. We believe that children learn best when they have the freedom of choice and work at their own pace. Children in our care will find a safe environment that supports their healthy intellectual, social, and emotional development.
Every corner of our kindergarten provides children with plenty of inspiration to explore, experiment, and learn through both beautiful and purposeful Montessori materials, as well as everyday practical items and natural elements.
Our empathetic teachers create a supportive environment where children feel welcomed. Children have the opportunity to choose activities that interest them, and teachers support and guide them in discovering new skills. Teachers dedicate enough attention to each child, respecting their opinions and individuality in communication. We emphasize ethical values such as respect, empathy, and mutual understanding.
Last but not least, regular communication with parents is important to us. We share information about the child’s progress and collaborate in all areas where it is needed.
We are proud that our kindergarten provides space for the individual growth and development of children. We believe that each child has unique potential, and our greatest task is to support and nurture it.
Join us and discover the beauty of Montessori education for your child!
My name is Kristýna Delmar, and I am the director of a Montessori nursery and preschool, which we run with respect for what has been built here, as well as a vision for further development.
I originally studied law and worked for several years in the legal profession, where I gained a solid foundation in responsibility, systematic thinking, and working with people.
Motherhood brought a fundamental change to my professional path. As a mother of three children, I began searching for an environment that would support their natural development, inner motivation, and emotional well-being. It was then that I became more closely acquainted with the Montessori approach, which is now deeply close to my heart.
Together with an experienced team, we create a stimulating, safe, and beautiful environment where children can naturally develop, learn new things, and form their first friendships. In the spirit of the Montessori approach, we support their independence, curiosity, and joy of discovery—always with respect for each child’s individuality.
As a director, but also as a mother, I see my role primarily as that of a guide. I deeply appreciate the trust that parents place in us by entrusting their children to our care, and it is important to me to be here not only for the children, but also for their parents—to listen, share, and seek the best together.
My wish is for our daycare and preschool to be a place where children come with joy and where they feel safe, accepted, and respected.
My name is Gabriela, and I am in charge of all HR and operational matters at Bylinky. I work very closely with the director and the teachers. My dream has always been to work somewhere where it has a meaningful impact on society as a whole. I wanted to be part of an organization where I can contribute to finding a balance between ensuring employee satisfaction and the well-being of the community in which people work. Only in this way can we provide loving care to children and their parents. 🙂
Also, I really love food! And I’m known for having a few favorite TV series that I watch over and over again. 🙂
Motto: I don’t really believe in them. 🙂
Motto: “The child is the closest to the truth.”
My name is Kačka and I will be part of the afternoon program at the Montessori preschool. I would like to fill our time together with music, movement, and rhythm – through playful musical and movement-based activities that encourage a natural joy of discovery. I have been involved in Montessori education for five years. I gained experience in nurseries here in the Czech Republic, but also at the Montessori House in Vienna, where I had the opportunity to further develop professionally. I also worked in a children’s group in Germany, which is why I am familiar with multicultural environments and communication in foreign languages.
Motto: ” Seize every opportunity, because some only come once in a lifetime.!”
My name is Tereza, and in Bylinky I work mainly as the housekeeper. I prepare healthy snacks, help the children with whatever they need at the moment, and take care of the environment so that it is always ready for them. I have been working with children since my early years, when I led clubs for young majorettes. During my pedagogy studies at Masaryk University, I was always interested in alternative approaches to education, and Montessori pedagogy most of all. It is a fascinating educational path.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking in the mountains, exercising, and discovering new places. I love sauna sessions, Christmas, my family, friends, and a good cup of coffee.
Motto: “Every day is a gift that has been given to you.” 🙂
My name is Bára, and I came to Druhý krok after fourteen years of intensive work with preschoolers and younger school-age children. As an afternoon teacher, I want to share my extensive experience in developing early reading skills that come before learning to read itself: understanding stories, perceiving connections, building vocabulary, expressing thoughts and emotions, developing concentration, and finding calm in today’s distracted world. I believe that these very skills — together with the Montessori approach and a safe environment where children feel accepted just as they are — create a strong foundation for future success at school and a fulfilled life in adulthood.
Motto: We all have as much freedom as we create for ourselves.
My name is Nikol, and out of all educational approaches, Montessori pedagogy was a natural and clear choice for me when it came to working in a kindergarten.
I appreciate the holistic and well-thought-out nature of the Montessori approach, its attention to detail, respect for the individuality of each child, and at the same time the opportunity it offers for creative work for educators.
I completed a one-year Montessori course with Zuzana B. Prémy, as well as additional advanced courses focused on Montessori music, mathematics, and the cosmic curriculum. I have worked both in a Montessori kindergarten and a forest kindergarten.
Other interests of mine include Chinese medicine, walking in the forest with my dog, reading, philosophy, psychology, and cooking.
Motto: I don’t have one 🙂
