Welcome to the website of Montessori Kindergarten Druhý krok. We are here to introduce you to a kindergarten for children aged three to pre-school age, where they will look forward to mornings and find exactly what they need.
We provide high-quality Montessori education for children, individually fostering the potential of each child. We believe that children learn best when they have the freedom of choice and work at their own pace. Children in our care will find a safe environment that supports their healthy intellectual, social, and emotional development.
Every corner of our kindergarten provides children with plenty of inspiration to explore, experiment, and learn through both beautiful and purposeful Montessori materials, as well as everyday practical items and natural elements.
Our empathetic teachers create a supportive environment where children feel welcomed. Children have the opportunity to choose activities that interest them, and teachers support and guide them in discovering new skills. Teachers dedicate enough attention to each child, respecting their opinions and individuality in communication. We emphasize ethical values such as respect, empathy, and mutual understanding.
Last but not least, regular communication with parents is important to us. We share information about the child’s progress and collaborate in all areas where it is needed.
We are proud that our kindergarten provides space for the individual growth and development of children. We believe that each child has unique potential, and our greatest task is to support and nurture it.

Working with children is incredibly enriching for me because I can help them discover a world full of possibilities and support their creativity and curiosity. Every day spent working with children brings smiles to their faces and joy from their progress, which is an invaluable reward for me. Working with children allows me to witness their growth and contribute to a future full of hope and optimism.

My name is Martina Nathan. Since exercise, movement, working with children, and self-development are my life, I decided to combine my experiences and offer to the world what I enjoy. I am dedicated to Montessori pedagogy, secure attachment, children’s yoga, and bilateral therapy. In my life, I enjoy practicing mindfulness, love deep work exercises, and taking walks in nature.

I am a very positive person who loves working with children, animals, and nature. In working with children, I especially appreciate the immediate feedback that these little friends are always willing to provide us. Among other things, I am also an instructor for outdoor activities. In the past, I have taught skating, skiing, climbing on an artificial wall, and other sports activities. Working with children brings me a lot of inspiration and allows me to perceive the world from a different perspective.

My name is Martina, and I work as a housekeeper at the DRUHÝ KROK kindergarten. I enjoy working among children, and there is not a day when I don’t learn something new from them. Their smiles and the drawings I take home are my greatest rewards. 🙂 I spend my free time mainly with my son and my family. Our favorite activity is traveling across Europe in a camper with an unclear destination.
Motto: “The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.” – Steve Jobs
My great passion is food; I enjoy eating a lot. I am also known for having a few favorite TV series that I watch constantly. However, my greatest joy is watching my daughter grow, develop, and become who she is. It is her who pushed me towards my personal development and working on myself. And thanks to her, I am also here. I work in Montessori nurseries and preschools dedicated to educating the youngest in a respectful way. My dream was to work somewhere that makes sense for the whole society. I wanted to be in a place where I can contribute to finding a balance between satisfied employees and the organization in which people work. Only in this way can we provide loving care to children and parents. I look forward to everything we will experience together 🙂
Motto: I don’t believe in those too much 🙂
